Jet gone tech
TECHNICAL difficulties with Aurigny's jet aircraft have delayed today's services.
'Engineers are on site and we are hopeful that the aircraft will be operational again shortly and that the delay will be minimal,' the company said in its update to customers on Facebook.
Due to 'operational reasons' the outbound flight to Bristol was delayed by around three hours which has had a knock-on affect on the Stansted service.
The Stansted service cannot operate until the Bristol aircraft has returned to Guernsey.
Aurigny have encouraged passengers to keep an eye on departure boards for boarding times.
'We will have updates later on [for] our afternoon Gatwick services when we have confirmation regarding the operation of the jet,' they said.
'We would like to apologise for any inconvenience and thank our customers for their patience at this time.'
