The vessel has had to run on a revised schedule since Saturday on the Channel Islands to Poole service to cope with the work.
A Condor spokesperson said it had to operate on reduced power so that engineers could carry out preventative maintenance.
This followed on from a notification from the ship’s engines manufacturer, MTU, and involves replacing Liberation’s main fuel pumps.
The vessel is set to move back to its normal schedule on Thursday. The company apologised to passengers for the delays.
