Sunday: BWCI Guernsey Camerata Family Concert at 2.30pm at St James. (25839505)

Friday:

LGBTQ+ charity Liberate's Rainbow Choir involving singing and movement. They meet most Friday's at the GTA University Centre, St Peter Port at 7.30pm. All details can be found on the Liberate Facebook page or email hello@liberate.gg.

Saturday:

The Guernsey Conservation Volunteers will be clearing La Mare Huchon Douit, St Sampson’s. Meet at 10am in the car park by Rousse kiosk, near the Peninsula Hotel. New members welcome, wellies encouraged. For more details tel. Angela on 721163 or visit www.gcv.org.uk.

Family story time for all-aged children at the Guille-Alles Library, 11-11.30am. No booking necessary.

Shrine of the Sacred Heart, located in a bunker at Fort Hommet, Vazon, is open free to the public from 2-4pm (weather permitting). Information can be found at www.sacredheart.org.gg.

Big British Beach Clean Weekend at Vazon at 3pm (meet at Fort Hommet Headland). Gloves and bags will be provided for all ages. Fairtrade Guernsey will be creating a beach art installation at the Vazon Beach Clean from 3pm to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Fairtrade mark. Bring any litter you collect between now and then to add to the artwork, particularly blue and green things. The Drone Ranger will be flying over and there’s free refreshments if you bring your own cup.

St Stephen’s Players present Piratey Variety Night at St Stephen’s Community Centre, 7pm. Featuring gut-bustin’ comedy, blood-curdlin’ tragedy, yo ho poetry and shanty-singing with GU10. Shipmate’s supper, donations bar and raffle. Piratey fancy dress encouraged and prize for the best. £10 per pirate. Book: info@ststephensplayers.com

Annual Youth Camerata concert at St James at 8pm. Admission free. No pre-booking necessary and free seating. There will be a retiring collection towards the expenses of the evening.

Sunday:

10 Walks, 10 Weeks, 10 Parishes. A different parish walk every Sunday until 17 November. Dogs and their owners are invited to join this second Wellbeing Animals Guernsey (WAG) walk, starting from The Last Post, St Andrew’s, at 2pm. Full details and route map downloads on www.wag.org.gg.

BWCI Guernsey Camerata Family Concert at 2.30pm at St James. Conductor: John Traill; narrators: Ali Coubrough-Barnett and Josh Gabriel. Bring your favourite teddy to enjoy wonderful stories brought to life with a narrator and full orchestra. Plenty of audience participation and deliciously wicked text from Roald Dahl in Three Little Pigs with other favourites. £12 adults, £8 students, senior citizens and restricted view. £36 family ticket (2 adults and 2 children). Sark rowing weekend begins at 9am on Saturday with Guernsey to Sark.

Wheway Cup - Rovers v. Alderney at Port Soif at 1pm on Saturday.

FNB Priaulx league - Rangers v. Bels at St Andrew's at 2pm and St Martin's v. Vale Rec at Blanche Pierre Lane at 2pm on Saturday.
