The coast road of La Croix Martin, St Saviour, is currently one-way from L'Eree to Perelle while stonemasons carry out works on the seawall.

In Castel, the road between L'Aumone Surgery and the traffic lights is also currently one-way, towards the traffic lights. This is due to engineers from Guernsey Gas carrying out works in the carriageway on the gas main.

A spokesperson from Traffic and Highway Services said in both of these locations, drivers have been choosing to ignore the no-entry and other signage.

'[It] is putting other motorists and, in particular, the contractors working in the carriageway in great danger.'

Guernsey Police are aware of the problems and will 'take action' against offenders.
