Other lines of enquiry have also been investigated but as yet they have not led to further positive sightings of Mr Bourgaize, but we would continue to invite members of the public to contact us with any information that may be helpful, on 725111.

'We would particularly ask people living in the area of Fort Road to check any outbuildings and isolated areas on their private land,' a Guernsey Police spokesperson said.

'Officers have continued searching relevant locations and speaking with Matthew’s friends and family. A drone and the Sea Fisheries RIB are also involved in the search efforts.

'Guernsey Police would also like to state again that if this message reaches Matthew, we would encourage him to make himself known to us, so we can ensure he receives all the care and support he needs.'
