Attempted murder update: No plea entered for attempted murder of wife
AN ALDERNEY man appeared before the Ordinary Division of the Royal Court this morning [21 Feb 2020] charged with the attempted murder of his wife.

Robin Dupont, 56, is alleged to have committed the offence at his home, 2B, Clos des Mouriaux, Les Mouriaux, on Wednesday.
No plea was entered.
Crown Advocate Chris Dunford told the court that police enquiries in to the matter were ongoing.
Lt-Bailiff Graeme McKerrell remitted the case to the Magistrate’s Court with view to committing it to the Royal Court at a later date.
No bail application was made and Mr Dupont, who appeared from custody, will appear in court again on Monday 16 March.
