Three reported for alleged breach of lockdown rules
POLICE officers were cracking down on islanders who were flouting the lockdown rules over the weekend.

Three cases have been referred to the law officers and three final warnings were also issued.
Nine people were given words of advice.
A Bailiwick Law Enforcement spokesman said it was important that people understood the rules were in place to save lives.
‘To be clear, if anyone thinks these rules don’t apply to them and they can continue to act as if everything is normal, we are here to remind them otherwise,’ the spokesman said.
‘We are enforcing as a very last resort, but be under no illusion, if we have to take enforcement action to protect our community from this unprecedented threat, then we will.
‘The vast majority of people are adhering to the rules and we are grateful for the support we are getting.’
Most of the issues were people visiting other households. The police’s approach has been to engage, explain and educate.
Aside from Covid-19 related work, there was a spike in arrests for other offences, following several weekends of lower-than-usual demand.
Within 24 hours a total of 11 arrests were made, including two for alleged assaults on police.
‘These numbers are what we would expect a “normal” weekend to look like, but, of course these aren’t normal weekends,’ the spokesman said.
