The patient had fallen and hurt themselves, so the St John Emergency Ambulance Service was called.

After assessing and treating the patient at the scene, the medical crew asked for help from the Fire and Rescue Service, whose new turntable ladder was used to bring the patient down to the road by the former aquarium where they were transferred to an ambulance and taken to the PEH Emergency Department.

St John Ambulance thanked colleagues from the White Watch at the fire service for their assistance.
