Increased safety measures mean shops will open between 10am and 4pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays until further notice.

Donations can be accepted on Mondays and Thursdays only and must be confirmed through a booking system to comply with Public Health advice.

‘We have designated two days for donations because everything coming in must be quarantined for 72 hours,’ said shop manager Claire de la Haye.

‘Please phone or email to arrange a donation drop-off time. When phoning, we may ask what people are bringing to avoid trips for donations which we cannot accept.’

To ensure safety, donations should not be left outside the shop.

‘If slots are fully booked then please hold on to it for another week or so until space is available. Donations should always be clean and of good quality, but it is ever more important now.’

Current stock on display has been in storage since pre-lockdown. ‘Our team prepared the shops with summer stock. Luckily, we have a big storage space, which enabled us to reopen.’

Only card and contactless payments can be taken.

‘A one in, one out system will be in place, just like the supermarkets.’

The number of people in the shop will be limited and changing facilities will be closed.

Personal protective equipment will be worn by staff and sanitiser is on the door and must be used on entry.

. Call 230085 or email lesbourgsshop@gmail.com to book a time to drop off donations. Duvets, pillows, mattresses, pictures, microwaves, buggies, car seats, soft toys and teddies, furniture, and broken, rusty or damaged items cannot be accepted.
