Bailiwick enters phase 5c
PHASE 5C of the exit from lockdown gets under way today, with England and France expected to be in the most serious category.

This phase focuses on changing how countries are classified for travel and how travellers are tested.
Countries are now split into categories one, two, three and four. Currently that is only the Isle of Man, although the air bridge is suspended.
There are at present no category two countries with direct links to Guernsey, as it requires fewer than 30 cases cases per 100,000.
It would see people only isolating until a negative result on their arrival. They would then undergo enhanced passive surveillance until having a day seven test.
If that was negative they would move into the passive follow-up phase.
Category three is for jurisdictions with between 30 and 100 cases per 100,000, which will mean self-isolating until a negative day seven result, followed by enhanced passive follow-up.
Arrivals from category four countries, places with more than 100 cases per 100,000, will still test on arrival, but will have to self-isolate for 14 days.
The exact list of countries was set to be released this morning, but it was expected that England and France would be category four, while Jersey will be category three. Parts of Wales and Scotland were also expected to be category three, but there are no direct flights between these areas and the Bailiwick.
As of yesterday, Jersey had 73 active cases and Guernsey eight.
The new phase also sees the launch of the new Travel Tracker. Travelling islanders need to create an account before travelling into the island, although they can do so on arrival.
