Unemployment on the rise
UNEMPLOYMENT in Guernsey has risen.
The number of jobseekers was 552 in November, up from 541 in October and from 334 this time last year.
There are also 390 people claiming a top-up to their wages, which compares with 401 last month and 402 in November 2019.
A total of 28 people are on training schemes and placements.
