Two routes affected by empty bus crashing

A BUS operated by CT Plus, which was not in service, struck the central reservation at The Quay, St Peter Port, at about 6.30am yesterday.

Police attended and a contra-flow system was put in place to keep traffic moving.

Nobody was hurt and the area was cleared by 7.40am. The cause of the collision is not known.

A spokesman for CT Plus said the route 31 service that was due to leave Town at 7.05am was delayed by the incident and the 8am route 11 service did not operate. No other routes were affected.
