Car on roof, but no injuries in late night accident
NO ONE was injured when a Hyundai Getz ended on its roof along Bailiff’s Cross Road on Saturday night.
Guernsey Police and the Guernsey Fire & Rescue Service were called just before 11pm.
The wall of a property’s driveway was damaged, with minor rubble in the road.
On the scene, PC Sam Simon said: ‘One car hit the wall and rolled onto its roof.
‘There are no injuries - the chaps are still with the car. It just seemed to be an accident.’
Two police vehicles blocked the road from the Monnaie to Les Bourgs Hospice as firefighters put the vehicle back on its wheels.
A tow truck arrived shortly before midnight to remove the wreckage.
The road was cleared at 20 minutes past midnight.
