It follows public health advice after four new Covid-19 cases were uncovered with no links to travel or other travellers.

Upload took place last night and was scheduled to run from lunchtime today.

It has its origins in local musicians performing online during the lockdown last year.

Hundreds have been taking part in the Dance Festival this week at Beau Sejour.

'Our centre will be closed to the public today and that includes all events that were scheduled to take place. This will include the Dance Festival, all BodyZone classes and Swim School Classes etc.'

The Guernsey Sports Commission has said that all sporting events, fixtures and training should be cancelled.

The gym at Footes Lane is closed.

The Diabetes Guernsey drop-in morning has been postponed.

The Youth Commission has also postponed its climbing morning.
