Festival organiser Simon Couldridge estimated there were about 2,500 at the music event, when taking into account ticket holders, stall holders, musicians and helpers.

‘It’s been going fantastically,’ he said.

It may have been a damp start on Saturday, but it soon dried out and Mr Couldridge said it was clearly summery enough, as they had completely sold out of Pimms.

‘The bands have all been really good,’ he said.

Among those performing over the weekend were Rentoclean, the Space Pirates of Rocquaine and Clameur D’Haro. The acoustic stage, overlooking the sea, also drew good crowds, as had the midnight DJ sets.

‘The atmosphere has been great,’ Mr Couldridge said.

‘Everyone is up for a party.’

Bad weather early last week caused some damage to the festival site, but Mr Couldridge said since then everything had run smoothly. Travel restrictions, while loosened, still affected who was able to attend and Mr Couldridge said they missed having Jersey fans, as only fully vaccinated people were able to come into the island from outside the Bailiwick.

The festival wound-up yesterday afternoon and Mr Couldridge said it would take a few weeks to tidy up completely afterwards.
