‘Jersey is somewhere between heaven and out of this world’
TOP radio DJ Chris Evans was in Jersey yesterday launching DAB radio across the Channel Islands, which hit the airwaves earlier this week.

His Virgin Radio national breakfast show was broadcast live from La Haule beach between 7 and 10am.
The star described Jersey as ‘somewhere between heaven and out of this world’ – which led islanders in Guernsey wondering which of the two would be Guernsey, and which was France.
It had been planned he would also broadcast from Guernsey, but wrongly, he thought he would have to isolate for three weeks if he came here.
