WATCH: Castel farmer creates 100ft-wide daffodil labyrinth
A daffodil labyrinth spanning 100ft is in full bloom at Heritage Farm.
Farmer Nic Jee purchased three shopping trolleys full of seeds for the spring spectacle, which took him a week to plant.
‘I had it in the back of my mind for a few years. I thought it wouldn’t take land up from the farming operations because I can still use it for grazing and for hay.’
He and his family have grown daffodils for commercial purposes in the past, but Mr Jee thought that his creation would leave a lasting legacy for his grandchildren.
‘When I am dead and gone my children can show my grandchildren what I used to get up to,’ he said.

It takes around 20 minutes to walk around the entire space.
With the number of bulbs that have been planted, more will likely bloom each year, making the visual impact even more expansive.
Islanders will be able to see the display at a Blooming Spring open day this weekend, where local stalls, tractors and other activities will be taking place.
Some of the farm animals will also be out and about for visitors to see.
Heritage Farm is located at Les Beaucamps and will be open on Saturday and Sunday from 10am-5pm.
Entry costs £2 and is free for under-2s.
