Anna was nominated by her nine-year-old son Henry, who said: ‘She is kind, helpful, gives hugs and always makes yummy dinner every day.’

Henry said his favourite food that his mum makes is cheesy chips, and he does lots of things with his mum, but he particularly enjoys it when they cook together.

‘We do lots of things together, and I like it when we cook together.’

Anna also has a six-year-old daughter, Caroline, and a cat called Timmy Bat Coleman. Henry said that his mum let him travel to London to meet the cat and that his mum ‘cleans up all the cat litter every time.’

Henry said his mum, who also works full time, does a lot of things for him, but particularly enjoyed a picnic that she arranged for himself and his sister in their garden.

‘She does lots of things – she books holidays and she organises things for us – she took us for a picnic in our garden and let us decide what we wanted to have.’
