Free calendars in tomorrow’s edition of Press
THOUSANDS of Guernsey Press calendars will be available for free with tomorrow’s Guernsey Press.
The selection of images from around Guernsey, Alderney and Sark were taken by the newspaper’s team of photographers.
Guernsey Press picture editor Peter Frankland said the images were collected by the team throughout the year.
‘Since we cover so much of the island on a daily basis, we often come across a new angle on a familiar scene or find ourselves in a place that is normally inaccessible and offers a fantastic view,’ he said.
‘Our drone also comes in handy and we normally snap some scenic photos while it’s on duty capturing stills or video for our editorial content. Having an “eye in the sky” can be a real advantage and offers a unique perspective on the island.’
The calendar will be available in the newspaper.
Anyone unable to get a copy of tomorrow’s Guernsey Press will be able to buy one from the newspaper's Braye Road office.
