Preschools offered community police officer visits

BAILIWICK Law Enforcement is offering local preschools the opportunity to get a visit from a community officer – a part of the Neighbourhood Policing Team.

The initiative has been started by NPT to interact with different parts of the community, as engaging with children is an important aspect of policing.

PC Lyndsey Bell has previously visited preschools to read children’s stories, cover the basics of road safety and talk a little bit about the police.

The children even had the chance to look around the police van and enjoy the flashing lights and sirens.
