Katie Robin and Cosmo, who went missing on 24 June. She would like any information about him.

Cosmo and Ollie belong to separate families, but both disappeared on 24 June in the area of La Colline de Bas Courtil and the Farmhouse Hotel in St Saviour’s.

There have been no sightings of either cat.

Cosmo’s owner, Emma Robin, said that the circumstances were suspicious, but she would like to think that it is a coincidence rather than a malicious act.

‘We only found out that Ollie was missing when we knocked on our neighbour’s door looking for Cosmo,’ she said.

‘Cosmo comes home for food and to use the litter tray, so it’s not like him to be gone for this long.’

Emma Robin only found that Ollie, who lives with a family near her, had gone missing when she went to search for her cat.

He was last seen on Saturday 24 June, and his owners have been searching the clos, estate and lanes nearby for any signs of him.

Animal Aid and the GSPCA have been alerted and are involved in locating the cats.

‘I wouldn’t like to think they’ve been taken, it’s just bizarre and there are lots of conspiracies about it,’ said Ms Robin.

‘We just want him home, and even worst case scenario, we’d like closure.

‘We ask that people in the area check their sheds, garages, cars and just keep an eye out.’

It was Cosmo’s sixth birthday on Tuesday, and the owners say they feel they are 'missing a piece of the family' as they have had the cats since birth.

His twin brother, Mouse, has not been eating and is very depressed.

Cosmo is generally not keen on strangers and quite skittish, but Ms Robin believes that having been missing for this long, he would let someone approach him.

He is all black and was wearing a reflective bright yellow collar and is micro-chipped.

Posts about Cosmo have been shared widely on Facebook, and the family are relying on others to spread the message.

There is a £300 award if Cosmo is found.

Ollie has a mainly white body with a small patch of dark tabby on his back, a tabby tail and top of head.

He is also micro-chipped.

People are asked to check all sheds, outbuildings and cars.

Anyone who believes they have spotted either cat should contact the GSPCA or Animal Aid.
