1963 Revisited was organised by Guernsey Arts, in association with Skipton International.

It saw hundreds of people pack Candie Gardens last Tuesday evening for a picnic, with a group of local musicians performing a 32-song Beatles setlist.

‘It was a great night and we managed to raise over £1,150 for the arts during the event through bucket donations,’ said Guernsey Arts partnerships development executive Louise Le Pelley.

‘People were so generous and the vibe was amazing.’

The event marked 60 years to the day since the Beatles performed in Candie Auditorium.
