Further updates on the event, scheduled for Friday 28 February and Saturday 1 March, will depend on the feedback received from the authorities.

‘Behind the scenes, we’re working hard to bring you the best Guernsey Rally yet and we hope to share more news shortly,’ said the organisers on the 2025 Guernsey Rally Official Page on Facebook.

People who live near the proposed stage routes have been notified.

‘Earlier this year, the Committee for the Environment & Infrastructure agreed to consider an application from the Guernsey Rally Committee for a 2025 event,’ said States roads & traffic management manager Phil Ogier.

‘The application process requires the organiser to demonstrate that they will meet policy and condition requirements which centre around balancing the interests of all parties impacted.

‘Part of this process requires the organiser to write to the parish authorities and residential and business owners along a proposed route, as well those within 200m of the route where the organiser has noted livestock, horses or stables.

‘This engagement has been undertaken and Traffic & Highway Services is in the process of considering feedback received which will help inform the decision on whether to approve the routes.’
