More than 50 volunteers help frame the manifesto
MORE than 50 islanders with little or no political background have come together to help to frame the Future Guernsey manifesto.

‘We’re delighted with the output,’ said Deputy St Pier.
‘The groups have worked collaboratively, they have brought people in with specialist skills, it’s been a very iterative and collaborative process.’
Deputy St Pier, as Future Guernsey’s political adviser, said that he had been involved in some groups more than others, ‘offering political context’. ‘Guernsey has never seen anything like this, a process led by the community,’ said Future Guernsey chief executive Lindsay Freeman.
‘The development of the groups has been organic, and we thank all those who were concerned about the future of the island and were willing to give up their time to offer experience and advice.’
