October series of workshops to promote economic development in Sark

REPRESENTATIVES from the UK's Ministry of Justice, Guernsey and Jersey will travel to Sark in October for a series of economic development workshops.

Sark's General Purposes and Advisory Committee said it was an chance for everyone with an interest in Sark's future to be involved.

'The objective is for Sark to learn from other jurisdictions, to provide and share advice and ideas, to facilitate engagement between Chief Pleas and a cross-section of the community and to identify potential options for improving and encouraging economic development in Sark,' it said.

The workshops will take place between 10 and 12 October.
