LEGAL fees Sark has to pay for the services of Guernsey's Law Officers are set to increase by over 10%.

Following a review into the existing service level agreement by the Law Officers of the Crown, it has been proposed that a new 'flat fee' is introduced for Sark to better reflect the work carried out.
Conseillers at Sark's Chief Pleas will be asked to approve the change to the fees sent to St James' Chamber when proposals are presented to this month's Christmas meeting by the Finance and Commerce and General Purposes and Advisory committees.
Their report said the move would remove the current arrangement of Sark's fee being 1% of Chamber's costs and set a flat fee, which for 2015 would be £60,000.
