Data centre will double

IT SERVICE provider Itex has announced plans for 'significant investment' to expand its data centre at the Braye Road Industrial Estate.

The company hosts client data for a range of clients in financial services and e-gaming.

It is expanding its capacity, with more rack space becoming available from July. The project will require no external building work.

The phased development will initially increase the data centre capacity by 50%, with a longer-term goal of doubling capacity.
