CI 2e2 firms profitable, says MD in wake of parent collapse

IT SEEMS likely that the local businesses of IT consultancy 2e2 will be sold as a going concern.

Parent company 2e2 went into administration in the UK this week, with the loss of more than 300 jobs across the country.

The company employs 1,400 people across the UK, but its operations outside the country – in Ireland, Spain, the Benelux countries, USA, Channel Islands and the Isle of Man – have continued to trade.

2e2 UK and a number of UK-based trading entities in the group have gone into administration but the local office made it clear there were no plans for the CI operations to follow. They are trading under the control of their local directors.

Administrators immediately said that they intended to sell the four CI businesses – 2e2 Offshore, 2e2 Jersey, 2e2 Guernsey and 2e2 Paperflow – as going concerns, though it is expected that the process could take months before deals are concluded.
