Eliza wins IoD shadowing award

Eliza Collenette, 17, a student at the Grammar School Sixth Form Centre, shadowed Fiona Naftel, managing director of Les Cotils, which provides a range of services from accommodation to conference facilities.
'It was a really good learning opportunity for me because you don't get many opportunities to go into a real-life environment. In school you learn things like being strict with your workforce to achieve your objectives but when you are in a real working environment you can see that it's different in some situations. Fiona values her workforce and praises them and I thought that was very motivational,' she said.
