Children take over at Creasey's in Bordage

It plans to move its toys upstairs to the first floor and relocate M&S Kidswear from the Town Quay premises to the ground floor in the Bordage, alongside the current nursery department, which will be completely refurbished.

The family company said it has 'exciting plans' for the space left in the Quay shop front but has not yet revealed them.

'This is a very exciting development and will bring a lot of footfall to the Bordage area and is further evidence of our continued investment in retail in St Peter Port,' said managing director Peter Creasey.

'With more space available, customers will find a much larger range of M&S Kids clothes, footwear and schoolwear.

'The designs for the toy shop are fun and bright and include a mums' room with baby change facilities.

'It will become an exciting destination for children in Town.'
