The bank picked up the awards for investment banking capabilities and SRI/social impact investing in Guernsey, and commercial banking capabilities in Jersey, at the awards ceremony in London.

The survey covers 15 different product and client categories on a global and regional basis and has ranking results in 70 countries which are peer reviewed before being announced.

Nearly 3,000 survey responses were received, covering some 700 financial institutions.

Neil McCluskey, head of local business banking and international corporates for Barclays in Jersey, collected the awards.

'Recognition from the survey shows that we are working well with our clients and contacts across the full banking and investment space,' he said.
