Orchard staff buy the business from founders
THE Channel Islands media sector has been surprised by a move which has seen leading PR practitioner Steve Falla sell his business to two members of his staff.
Mr Falla has owned and run Orchard PR for the past 21 years, having entered the public relations industry nearly 30 years ago.
Now he and his wife Lois have sold the business to Brooke Kenyon and Chris Chilton, both long-serving members of the 13-strong team at Orchard.
Mr Falla will reduce his commitments but will be staying with the business as an executive consultant.
He said the move would give him more time with clients.
‘I will still be working with clients and dealing with the media network that I enjoy so much, and I’m really pleased that I’m not just going overnight,’ he said.
