A ‘critical time’ for construction sector
THE man behind the reinvigoration of the Construction Industry Forum has said that now is a critical time for the sector in the island.

Tim Guilbert told the Guernsey Property and Construction Awards that he was heartened by the progress made by the new-look forum since the spring, when a new executive committee was chosen.
‘I cannot think of a more important time to be doing this than right now,’ he said.
‘I am very encouraged with the engagement we are seeing from government. Despite what we might think, they are listening and taking on board our views. We need to tackle real matters of importance to the industry with vigour and we are looking forward to doing that.'
