Vikki Bennett, pictured, rejoins the agency as lettings manager after taking a sabbatical during 2017, having previously worked in the local market sales team. She also spent three years in the firm’s lettings department, which she was instrumental in setting up in 2012.

‘My year out was spent discovering new hobbies and interests, but I was definitely ready to return to one of my greatest passions – property – after the break,’ said Mrs Bennett.

‘The rental market is more dynamic than ever and we’ve got a great team in place here at Livingroom that I’m excited to head up.’

She added that prospective tenants were looking for everything from one-bedroom apartments to four-bed family homes.

‘The demand for rental properties from people on-island and those looking to relocate to Guernsey is huge at the moment, so we’re always on the lookout for more rental properties to add to our books.’

Livingroom founder and managing director Simon Torode said: ‘Vikki brings a wealth of experience of the local and open markets to the lettings team and her island knowledge is encyclopaedic.

‘Our rentals team is incredibly busy and the rise in demand for rental properties has been widely reported.

‘Vikki is passionate about Guernsey and this comes across to potential residents who are looking to relocate to the island’s open market.

‘Her enthusiasm, vision, financial services background and negotiating skills are all essential to the smooth operation of the lettings team and the whole team would like to welcome her back.’
