Mourant Ozannes Guernsey associate Catherine Moore, pictured, has been admitted as a full Step member after completing one of the foremost recognised qualifications in the sector to be confirmed as a trust and estate practitioner. To be eligible for the society’s qualified practitioner route, a person must have at least five years’ experience in the field.

‘Being accepted for full Step membership has allowed me to further my knowledge in both the legal aspects of trust and private client work, as well as the practical and administrative issues which arise. I have found it particularly interesting to learn about this area from that perspective,’ she said.

Mourant Ozannes partner Matthew Guthrie said the firm was committed to delivering ‘unrivalled’ client service – and providing colleagues with the tools and opportunities to achieve their career goals was one way to achieve that.

‘Catherine’s full Step membership is a clear demonstration of her commitment to her field of work and we are very proud of her achievements,’ he added.
