Promoted to MD in Guernsey

The role is in addition to his responsibilities as group head of corporate development, encompassing merger and acquisition and group strategy. He first joined the global provider of funds, corporate and trust services in 2016 to lead the company’s growth strategy.

‘Having been central to our growth strategy and development of our large funds business – including leading our acquisitions – he is best placed to drive further growth and cement Estera’s position as a leading provider of private equity fund administration services in key jurisdictions, including Guernsey.’

Mr Levner, who has nearly 20 years of industry experience, said: ‘This is a tremendously exciting time for our Guernsey business.

‘Starting with a strong foundation of outstanding clients and talented professionals within our team, 2019 will bring a number of important developments to enhance our capabilities for both new and existing clients alike.’

Before joining Estera, Mr Levner held a string of senior positions, including director at AnaCap Financial Partners, a private equity fund focused on European financial services.

Prior to AnaCap he was managing director of JRJ Ventures LLP, a private equity fund focused on European financial and business services. He also previously served as director in the financial institutions group at UBS Investment Bank, where he advised on a number of transactions in the global financial services sector.
