Black Vanilla’s specialism in public relations, copywriting, events and social media has continued to grow in recent years.

Mrs Isabelle founded Black Vanilla in 2008 based on her local and national media planning, media buying and events expertise.

Demand and growth brought public relations and social media to the service offering and further growth came when Mrs Culverwell merged her public relations business with the agency in 2016.

‘It has been fantastic working with Jade over the last few years and during that time the agency has continued to evolve.

‘Black Vanilla’s core expertise is now focused on reputation management, which I believe will become even more important in today’s climate of uncertainty and fast-paced technological change.

‘I am very excited about further developing our first-class PR services and taking Black Vanilla forward,’ said Mrs Culverwell.

Mrs Isabelle said: ‘I will always be proud of the Black Vanilla brand and the team I created and built over the last 10 years. It is a natural progression for Nichole to take over ownership and to continue to build on this success.’

The agency has clients from a wide variety of sectors including financial services, telecoms, health and consumer goods in the UK, Guernsey and Jersey.

Mrs Culverwell is a CIPR chartered PR practitioner, the vice chairwoman of the Channel Islands CIPR committee and a member of the local Institute of Directors committee.

She has more than 25 years’ experience in strategic public relations, event management and copywriting services and also specialises in crisis communications.
