Moving forward under the TPA brand, LRD managing director Tom Robertshaw will be joining the TPA board of directors as the new director of client services, working with newly-promoted business director Ben Inder.

Ian Langlois will become associate creative director working alongside Phil Regan.

‘TPA is a great fit for us. They share the same values around teamwork, creative excellence and effective work.

‘We are excited to deliver real change to our clients and partners through our expanded capabilities,’ said Mr Robertshaw.

He added that the tie-up would provide LRD clients with additional expertise and an on-island presence for LRD clients based in Jersey.

TPA managing director Nigel Kennedy said: ‘Designing transformational creative, building smart technology and coming up with ideas that change businesses is what we strive for every day.

‘What we don’t get every day is the chance to add huge experience and talent to the team that will greatly enhance our strategic depth and creative capability.

‘Tom’s a wonderful communicator and talented leader with a strong track record that goes right back to his time working on brands such as Sainsbury’s, Peugeot, Flybe and Genting Casinos.

‘While Ian and his creative team deliver some of the smartest campaign ideas that we’ve seen coming out of competitor shops.

‘This is going to be great for our work and great for our clients.’

LRD was founded in 2008 while TPA has been around since 1989.

TPA chief executive Tony Tostevin said: ‘While TPA always delivers creatively and our digital capability is second-to-none, where the business really adds value is by being commercially minded in all of our service relationships.

‘Tom, Ian and their team will further strengthen our position. I am excited for this new chapter in the company’s growth story.’
