Ferbrache & Farrell strengthens law and compliance departments
BARBARA LOVELL has joined Ferbrache & Farrell’s property law department.
Having started her probate career in 2011, she has developed her knowledge of the Guernsey system and acted for a broad range of clients – including high net worth individuals.
‘Our clients appreciate her practical and technical advice, as well as her ability to communicate the complexities of the Guernsey probate system in a clear and concise way,’ said managing partner Alastair Hargreaves.
‘In addition to making probate applications, Barbara also handles the administration of estates. She is sensitive to the personal needs of the deceased’s family yet focuses on administering the estate efficiently and cost effectively.’
Lorna McKinney has also joined the firm as an executive assistant, compliance. She worked for 10 years as a legal librarian, secretary and administrator, and has worked previously with the majority of the Ferbrache & Farrell team. Before entering the legal profession, she was a personal banker and holds qualifications from the International Compliance Association.
