Business appointments: NP Group appoints manager
NORMAN PIETTE has appointed a new executive manager to its builders’ merchant sales department.
Simon Taylor, who joined the timber trade in 1990 after a spell in the Royal Navy, said: ‘Guernsey was a very attractive proposition for me.
‘The opportunity to move to a beautiful island with my wife, make new friends, take up new hobbies and work with Norman Piette was impossible to turn down.’
He added: ‘I love the fact that Norman Piette is a family business with a fantastic history and reputation both here and on the mainland. I come from a timber background so it’s also exciting to learn about new products and expand my skill set. I’m really looking forward to working with the team to help drive the business forward.’
Paul Rogers, CEO of the NP Group, said Simon was an excellent addition to the team.
‘Simon has an excellent track record, lots of experience and knowledge that will be a real advantage to us as we enhance and diversify our product range,’ he added.
