Broker Jorden Toms, accounts assistant Rosie Murgatroyd and accounts and premises supervisor Kay Leigh have celebrated 10, 15 and 25 years with the firm respectively. John Nicholls, who retired from Rossborough after 25 years, also received a long-service award.

They said that technology, such as online services, and more requests for travel insurance from older islanders due to the ageing population were among the biggest changes in the insurance industry.

‘I believe it is quite unusual now to see staff remain with one company for so long and I am genuinely delighted by the loyalty shown. They have built up such a wealth of knowledge of not only the company and the industry but also of our customers, which is invaluable,’ said Rossborough director Richard Clarke.

Each staff member was presented with champagne, flowers and vouchers in recognition of the time spent with Rossborough.
