Pride of Guernsey: Dawn Ellis
DAWN ELLIS is the most inspirational parent that Emily Nuttall has ever met.
Miss Nuttall was a great friend of Mrs Ellis’ daughter, Lauren, who died last year.
‘After the devastation of losing her beautiful and amazing daughter, Dawn is working tirelessly to improve and change our mental health services to help improve the system and make sure that no one else is failed,’ said Miss Nuttall.
‘Dawn has time for everyone and is there for you through the hardest of times. She has also done so much for me and gives me so much hope and strength, and even in my darkest and hardest of times Dawn has been there for me.
‘She is so much more than just an incredible and inspiring parent. She is an angel to me and so many others and I wouldn’t be here today without her.’
