The shop sells toys, games, greetings cards, gift wrap, jewellery, scarves, handbags, locally made arts and crafts, and housewares.

Their nominator, Charlotte Robert, thought the shop deserved recognition for the way they ‘genuinely provide’ the warmest welcome.

‘Whether you’re just having a look around or searching for something specific, you’ll always be greeted with a smile,’ she said.

‘Shoppers are never put under pressure when shopping, but welcomed inside to view their unique range of local gifts, homewares and much more.

‘When considering a warm welcome in Guernsey, my mind goes straight to Cadeaux.

‘Nothing changes their service – you get the same warm welcome if you sneak in just before closing as well as when the shop is very busy.

‘No strings attached, consistent customer service like this is becoming less and less common.

‘Thank you Cadeaux.’
