Pride of Guernsey: Ann Batiste
ANN BATISTE, has been nominated for the Alexander-Daniels sponsored Customer Service of the Year Award in her role as an assistant on the medicine counter at Boots the chemist, St Peter Port.
Ms Batiste is very efficient in her job and is equally as friendly.
‘She always has a smile on her face and welcomes each customer with the same warmth, catering to their needs,’ said her nominator.
She has a great rapport and nothing is ever too much trouble – Ms Batiste is always helpful in answering questions about products, conditions, anything at all.
‘It is always a pleasure to be served by Ann and I feel she is an asset to Boots the Chemist,and a good candidate for the Customer Service of the Year Award.’
Ms Batiste said: ‘It is an honour to be nominated for this award and totally unexpected. People come in here usually trying to make themselves better and the fact someone has taken the time to nominate me is very special and I am hugely thankful for this.’
