‘The Vale Earth Fair is the Channel Islands’ longest-running music festival and it wouldn’t happen without the Vale Earth Fair Collective,’ said an anonymous nominator.

‘They work tirelessly throughout the year, putting on quizzes, record fairs and such, and the Earth Fair has loads of great acts that have entertained thousands of islanders over the years while raising money for some worthy causes.’

An appeal was made late last year for people to purchase tickets in advance to help the festival when it fell into debt following poor attendance at last year’s festival due to terrible weather.

‘People should support VEF and the collective’s efforts to keep the festival running should be recognised,’ said the nominator.
