Pride of Guernsey: Deanna Le Moignan
DEANNA LE MOIGNAN has been nominated for Teacher of the Year, sponsored by Core Fund Services (Guernsey) Limited.
Deanna undertook 750 hours of placements at the College of Further Education before moving to Le Rondin. She teaches Reception and Years 5 and 6.
‘It’s great here, so rewarding. We did the Year 6 residential trip last month where we took the kids to Exmoor where they undertook many activities, it was great for them to learn independence and have new experiences.’
Nominator Paige Le Moignan thanked Deanna for all she has done.
‘Deanna is my sister, she has been an LSA at Le Rondin Primary School for four years now.
‘She really is the best LSA and I would say teacher on the island, her commitment to the wellbeing and learning with the children is above and beyond and she inspires me daily.’
