Tracey has been working at Les Voies since it opened 10 years ago.

‘I love it, it’s a very individual place to work, there are some very challenging students but the rewards are bigger,’ she said.

‘We’ve just had our first international trip, a World War history trip for which we took Year 10 and 11 students to Berlin. They were an absolute credit, they didn’t let themselves down at all and represented the school so beautifully.’

Nominator Clare Garnham was grateful for Tracey’s work, particularly for how she has helped her daughter Jessica.

‘Tracey has known my daughter Jessica pretty much since she started at Les Voies School in September 2017. Jess had not long left the care of Southampton hospital after treatment for cancer, she has also been diagnosed with ADHD, autism and microdeletion which at times makes her very anxious and vulnerable. Tracey has never given up on Jess and is probably the one of the main reasons Jess is going on to college and will continue to be successful in whatever she decides to do in the future.’
