Pride of Guernsey: Nicola Bradshaw
NICOLA BRADSHAW has been nominated for Teacher of the Year.
Ms Bradshaw has worked at Les Beaucamps High School for 20 years. She started at the school as head of business and has since undertaken many different roles.
She is currently head of health and social care and teacher of enterprise.
‘I enjoy what I do and it’s the students that keep me going,’ she said.
Her nominator Macie Clark was full of praise.
‘Mrs Bradshaw always goes over and above to help all the students at Les Beaucamps achieve the best results in their education as possible. She often helps pupils if they are struggling outside school hours as she truly cares about her students.’
Sindy Mkandla also praised Ms Bradshaw’s efforts.
‘She does so much for every student at that school, she cares for all of us and always makes us smile.’
