SUSIE GALLIENNE has been nominated for the Diversity and Inclusion award.

Susie’s nominator has said she is ‘the driving force behind Wigwam Support Group’.

Wigwam is a support group for children and the families of children who have additional needs.

Her nominator, Marc Winn, has said how she has been ‘a beacon of hope for families facing health challenges and disabilities across Guernsey’.

‘Susie’s dedication to the cause is truly inspiring. She has tirelessly worked to create a safe, inclusive space where families can share experiences, seek advice and find comfort.

‘Her empathetic approach and unwavering commitment have made Wigwam an invaluable resource for the community.

‘She is a vocal advocate for disability rights, constantly striving to raise awareness and effect change. Her efforts have significantly contributed to improving the quality of life for many individuals and families in Guernsey.

‘Her work with Wigwam has not only provided support to those in need but also fostered a sense of community, unity, and empathy across Guernsey.’
