Delivery of Corsaire des Iles II from France was delayed by Covid-19 lockdowns.

It has since been rebranded in the company’s colours, refurbished and repainted at the Marine & General yard on North Side.

She is now called Corsaire de Sercq.

‘It’s younger, faster, and made of aluminium instead of steel,’ Sark Shipping managing director Jan Milner said.

‘We are waiting on surveys and passenger certification delayed by lockdowns but expect to be sailing by the second week in May.’
